Photo of the Week – Hamilton Port Authority

February 2, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Photo of the Week
http://www.hamiltonport.ca/pow.aspx?id=pow

Hello folks. My name is Ross Englefield, I’m the IT Admin for the Hamilton Port Authority and occasional webmaster. On our site, we have a Photo of the Week feature where we post photos of stuff that the HPA is involved in, or just photos of Hamilton, ships or related things. I’m always looking for submissions to this feature and have seen some great photos in the Hamilton Flickr group pages. If you would like to submit a photo, either point me to a page on Flickr with an image that’s about 1024 x 768. That’s the largest image size I post. When I post any submitted images, I always provide photo credit and can add URLs or other stuff. When I post John’s pics, for example, I’ll include something like, “Photo courtesy of local photographer John Piercy. More of John’s work can be viewed at his http://www.fotoshift.com/ web site.” I can always use extra information such as when and/or where the photo was taken. If the photo has a name, I can add that too.

If you would like to submit a photo, or if you have questions, you can contact me at the Port at renglefield@hamiltonport.ca.
